From one of my favorite wineries in Niagara, Trius Winery let us discover this amazing 2012 East Block Cabernet Sauvignon. 2012 was a great year in Niagara. Ripened at maximum, this Cabernet Sauvignon an amazing show of force! Wonderful deep ruby with a nice garnet rim, this aromatic wine perfumes the glass with ripe blackberry, dark plum, violet, black tea, coffee, oak leather and truffle; omg tell me when to stop!! Such aroma will make you impatient to taste this beauty’s juicy plum and blackberry, cigar box with velvety smoke and oak, and a finishing touch of vanilla. Complex and full bodied, the wine will pair well with red meat with peppercorn sauce. Enjoy! 90/100
