Decero Mini Ediciones
Produced
in Mendoza, Argentina, this 2013 Petit Verdot from Decero Mini Ediciones shows
ripe black plum, black cherry, notes of violet, wet stone, and a touch of oak.
When I first opened this bottle and poured it into the decanter, I was
surprised by a pleasant smell of fresh baked croissants. At the first sip, tart
plum, iodine, black tea, tobacco and oak are combined to offer a nicely structured
wine. The tannins are present, but not overbearing, combined with subtle
acidity and a full body. The 2013 Petit Verdot from Decero Mini Ediciones will
express itself well with peppercorn steak. Enjoy. 90/100
