the Secateurs

From South-Australia, the Secateurs 2015, made from Cinsault, Shiraz, Grenache and Mourvedre, shows aromas of dark plum, lavender, thyme, coffee, pepper, leather and oak. On a side note, I have read that the winemaker and owner of Badenhorst Family Wines previously worked for Chateau Angelus; What a nice place to learn about winemaking! Full bodied with long finish, the Secateurs 2015 reveals ripe plum, violet, green pepper, tobacco, pepper, earthy note and oak. Well balanced, this red wine will pair well with BBQ Sausage. Enjoy. 87/100
