Chateau Carbonneau, Sequoia 2014

From Sainte-Foy-Bordeaux located in the Entre-Deux-Mers AOC region, comes the Chateau Carbonneau, Sequoia 2014. The name Sequoia comes from the huge trademark tree planted beside the Chateau Carbonneau. Made from 57% Merlot and 43% Cabernet Franc, the wine reveals aromas of plum, dark cherry, fern, pepper, truffle and cedar. Vivacious acidity, paired with mature tannins, this 2014 is already starting to show maturity for its young age. Full bodied with a long finish, the Sequoia reveals tastes of plum, ripe cherry, fresh herb, toast, green pepper, mushroom and cedar. Pair with cheese or red meat. Enjoy! 87/100
