Saint-Julien 2006
Saint-Julien 2006 was crafted by Chateau in Saint-Julien de
Beychevelle, which was ranked Grand Cru Classé in 1855. This Left Bank wine
shows great structure for its age and an elegant bouquet of dark cherry, plum,
rose, cigar, leather and oak. Made mainly from Cabernet Sauvignon, blended with
Merlot and Petit Verdot, Saint-Julien 2006 is supple with lovely tannins, a
medium body and a long smooth finish. Flavours of dark cherry, plum, fern,
tobacco, dark chocolate, leather, mushroom and oak develop into nice
complexity. Made from a powerhouse AOC, Saint-Julien 2006 provides a glimpse of
a Grand Cru Classé type of wine. Enjoy!
