From Castillon Cotes de Bordeaux, West of Saint-Emilion, come this Bordeaux AOC, Chateau Hyot 2014. Winner of multiple prizes, this wine is blended from 60% Cabernet Franc, 30% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. This Right Bank wine offers aromas of dark plum, dark cherry, fresh cut grass, pepper baking spice and cedar. Medium bodied with a mellow finish, Chateau Hyot shows nice balance for a young wine.
